From puppy foundations to behavioral issues, my goal for clients is to learn how to enjoy their dog through building a trusting relationship. Regardless of the reason you may need guidance with your dog, I can help build a better relationship with your dog. Every dog is different and every owner is different with their goals, so no training or behavioral plan is the same.
Training should be motivating and fun. Having a dog that wants to work with you is what successful training should. be about. Understanding what motivates your dog and how to work with that motivation in creating a strong and trusting relationship. Always, the goal to good training is having a dog listen without the use of any tool. To accomplish this successfully, build up these behaviors by having a dog learn with tools and fading them out.
I believe that it is unethical to suppress certain behaviors in a dog that for generations humans have bred for desired traits. Working together with your dog and giving them outlets in a constructive way can help balance both the dogs needs and your own.
